Father's Day Weekend at Lake Forest Resort in Wakefield, NH

Granite Staters Rally June 18-20, 2004

The June Rally was held at the Lake Forest Resort in East Wakefield, NH. There were a total of 32 coaches with 64 people. We absolutely had a great time. We started out Thursday night with a small gathering of 10 coaches. Everyone had a chance to meet and greet each other. By Friday night everyone had arrived. We had our usual social hour every afternoon. Saturday we tried something new for breakfast. We decided to try an omelet in a bag. It seemed to be a hit as everyone was surprised how well they came out and tasted great. Saturday night we enjoyed a pot luck dinner with a Father's Day cake for dessert. Sunday we had a pancake breakfast served by the campground. It was very good and enjoyed by all. The campground was very accommodating to all of our needs. They also put a big tent up for us to use if the weather was warm or it rained, which we took advantage of. We did have a few glitches that we were able to work out and do hope everyone was hapy with the weekend results. A special thanks to Glenn & Bobbie McCracken, and Bill & Carol Elkins. A very special thank you to Clayton "Bucky" Buck for all of the parking duties. If I forgot anybody I apologize.
