YANKEE TRAVELERS AND GRANITE STATERS

Tom and Jennette Pickels provided us with a wonderful weekend at Rockingham. We had sunshine, cool breezes, and some of us sat in the shade of an underpass. We could walk to the races and it was a short drive to all kinds of shopping and eating areas.

A group of us toured the Lowell National Historical Park. A sudden rain, wind and lightening storm came up at the beginning of our program so we took a trolley ride and an inside mill tour instead of the planned canal rides. We hope to go back next year for the canal tour. Lowell has many interesting places and is well worth a visit.
