There were 44 coaches in our caravan and (we had) a great parking location. I believe that all of us had a real good time.

The Lawn Chair Brigade did an exhibition at the opening exercises in front of a crowd of well over a thousand and they loved us. They even gave us a standing ovation. Larry Adams overheard someone in the audience say, "I'll bet the people marching are having more fun than we are." We did have a lot of fun. We had more than forty marchers and about half of them were beginners; yet we were as good as we have ever been. The costumes were more outrageous than ever.
