WHEELOCK PARK, KEENE
The Keene Swampbats baseball team is a member of The New England Collegiate Baseball League, which plays with real wood bats. Click for more on the Swampbats.
Wheelock Park is a Keene City Park and all facilities are available to us. (Includes pool, tennis courts, beach volley ball)
There are twenty-six (26) sites with water and electricity, and nine (9) for dry camping only. There is shared water and electricity on some of the dry camping sites, and there is plenty of room for an additional five (5) rigs to share water and electricty. There is additional space within the park where we can put five (5) more, dry camping only.
Water and Elecric FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
Bring your bikes and walking shoes. The campground is adjacent to a 3+ mile bike and walking path.
Downtown Keene - less than one mile away. Shopping at Colony Mill Marketplace and at The Center at Keene, as well as at several plazas. Excellent restaurants.
Alumni Field, the home of the Swampbats, is one mile away. Another easy bike ride.
